Bank of The Bahamas is well on its way to reclaim its position as a leading financial institution in The Bahamas. We are very pleased with the results achieved in Fiscal 2022 and intend to build on these accomplishments as we advance to becoming the most efficient customer centric bank in The Bahamas.

In the past year we made considerable progress with key strategic initiatives to reinvent the Bank and differentiate ourselves from our competitors. We expanded our Merchant Services Unit, introduced Contactless EMV Chip Prepaid and Credit Cards and automated our delinquency management processes to allow us to improve the debt collection associated with challenged borrowers. We substantially completed the extensive renovation of our Freeport Branch and will soon open our new state-of-the-art branch at the JFK location. Our Customer Experience Unit continues to drive a cultural shift with a focus on providing optimum customer service at all levels while our Training Department is being further reorganized to focus on the development of our entire workforce While Fiscal 2022 has been an exceptional year, we will not rest on our laurels, but we intend to continue to work effectively to provide our customers with essential and modern banking solutions delivered through advanced technology.

In line with our overall Strategic Plan, we will continue to push for accelerated growth while enhancing our service culture and improving our efficiency and product availability. We will continue to focus on achieving the milestones as outlined in our overall strategic plan as we introduce new products and enhance the overall experience of every customer. We recently introduced a new corporate website and are presently in the process of introducing a new online banking platform which includes a mobile app, automating many of our internal processes inclusive of account onboarding and launching a long-awaited debit card. We recognize that these plans may appear aggressive and ambitious to most however we believe that these are absolutely necessary to ensure that BOB continues on a path of success as we fulfill the goals that have been outlined in our overall strategic priorities.

Indeed, the new BOB is emerging and ascending to new heights!
