BOB recently introduced yet another service that will make life easier for Bahamians: over the counter payment of BEC bills. The new service makes it possible for customers to pay their electricity bills while banking, eliminating the need to make a separate trip to a BEC pay station.

“It’s very easy and convenient,” says Nicole Holder, Manager of Sales and Service, BOB. “You simply present your payment to the teller along with your BEC bill for reference. Once the bill is paid our automated bill payment platform ensures that your payment information is transmitted to BEC within two business days.”

Mrs. Holder said the new service means customers have one less stop to make in their busy day and more time to do the things they really want to do.

BEC Bill Payment services are now available at BOB’s thirteen (13) locations in New Providence, Grand Bahama, Andros, Cat Island, Exuma, San Salvador and Inagua. Customers can also look forward to more bill payment vendors coming on-stream in the near future.
