On a recent visit to the BOB Express ATM at Thompson Boulevard Branch Deron Russell, an officer with the Royal Bahamas Police Force in the Berry Islands discovered that the customer before him had left suddenly without completing his transaction. As a result the ATM ejected $300 cash and the previous customer’s ATM card to the policeman.
In such a situation many a man might have been tempted to pocket the funds and go about his merry way but the officer and gentleman could not. He came back to the branch and returned the funds to the surprise and delight of the previous customer. As a reward for his honesty he was presented with a gift basket filled with useful BOB branded products.
“We wish to express our appreciation to Officer Russell for his honesty and thoughtfulness,” said Berthia Knowles, Branch Manager, Thompson Boulevard. “At BOB we always go the extra mile to provide solutions for our customers but it’s also nice to see our customers looking out for one another,” she said.
